The pink dolphin is an endangered species from the family iniidae that can be found in some colombian rivers. A Dolphin is also a nobiliary french title that historically has been used in rural Colombia to name political rulers appointed by the local machineries. Marika is spanish for queer, but its meaning in Colombia overflows this sense and it is a widely used noun and adjective used to refer to a spectrum of a day to day realities. This book is a social landscape of contemporary Colombia.
