Utilizing old imagery and repurposing, "Places" questions the way we look at our memories, not as something as truthful, but something idealized, sparkly, and often times, unreal. It leaves us in a condition depleted of an imaginary force—a constant state of not being able to distinguish a “before”, blurring the possibility of an after. It is a longing that can be so simple but equally as heartbreaking.
