The book "Viridans" is about the coming-of-age ceremony held once a year in the country called "Nay". Held at a time when the weather is cool and the plants ripen, the festival participants(mature Nayians) expresses themselves through clothes and ornaments made of the plant and celebrates by eating plant ornaments together.
