"Reactive Inner-Self" is the third piece in a series of "Inner-Self Portraits," where Ava draws from pressing emotions and experiences as a means of processing and communing with the self. Set against a fiery background, a gender-fluid figure is characterized by a piercing gaze with fresh scars across their face. Semi-transparent hands frame these two attributes, drawing the viewer into a silent conversation of external inflictions that sharpen our innermost convictions.
